The fate of all Stalin’s famous children
Joseph Stalin had many children. The question is, how much? Officially, three are known: Yakov, Vasily and Svetlana, but there were others. Politicians have many secrets, one of which is illegitimate children. How did the recognized and unrecognized children of the leader of the USSR live their lives?
Yakov Dzhugashvili
Stalin’s first marriage was to Ekaterina Svanidze, who bore him a son. She died of typhus, so Yakov was raised by his aunt. Stalin’s second wife helped the boy to settle down in a new place.

Yakov greatly disappointed his father when, without his approval, he married Zoya Gunina. Due to a strained relationship with his father, he tried to commit suicide but failed.
In 1929, the marriage fell apart, and Yakov entered MIIT. In 1935, they married Judith Meltzer, a famous ballerina. In the war he was taken prisoner by the Germans. In 1943, he was shot while escaping from the Sachsenhausen concentration camp. From two wives, Dzhugashvili had Evgeny and Galina.
Vasily Stalin
At the age of three, the boy was sent to an orphanage, where all the children of Soviet politicians grew up. Vasily had a violent temper. In order to somehow calm his son’s temper, Stalin sent him to a flight school.
With the beginning of the war, Vasya was eager to go to the front, although his father was against such aspirations. In 1942, he commanded an air regiment, but was deprived of his privileges for an unbalanced attitude to alcohol.
After the death of Joseph Stalin, the son’s life does not develop in the best way: Vasily continues to drink and destroy the family. In 1955 he was imprisoned, and after his release he remained in Kazan. As a result, he continues to drink and dies.
Konstantin Kuzakov
One woman once rented a room to Kobe, Stalin’s old nickname during the revolution. They had an affair and had a son, Kostya.

Later, he was responsible for propaganda, supervised Soviet cinematography and worked in authoritative publishing houses. Stalin took care of his illegitimate son, who wisely disposed of his own life.
Alexander Davydov
Before the revolution, Stalin had a relationship with a fourteen-year-old girl. She bore him a child. Her brothers threatened to report to the gendarmerie, but Stalin promised to marry. However, he did not fulfill these promises.

His son Alexander worked as a postman under his stepfather’s name. One day, he was summoned to the government, where he signed non-disclosure documents for his origins. At the front, Davydov earned the rank of major. Then he got married, and had children.
Artyom Sergeev
Fyodor Sergeyev was a friend of Stalin. Both had sons at the same age. However, Fyodor died, and Stalin decided to take care of his son. The boy grew up, joined the army and graduated from an artillery school, although he had previously wanted to become a pilot. In 1941 he was taken prisoner by the Germans, but later escaped to the partisans.
